As some of you may know, September 1, 2008 was a date that drastically changed my life. That particular Labor Day was a day of great fun with friends, my family, weekend errands and the usual 3 day weekend activities. When I went to bed that night I had no Idea that my body was quietly starting an autoimmune response that would go awry and leave me paralyzed. When I woke up on Sunday morning I knew something was wrong and a few hours later I was paralyzed from the chest down.
